It’s been heavily rumored in the past couple days, ever since Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare was leaked, but there seems to be even more proof that a remastered version of Call of Duty 4 is coming. A new promo image for Call of Duty: Infinite War has leaked that includes some information on the remastered game.
The ad claims that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will come with the Legacy Edition of Infinite Warfare. The ad also states that the remastered version will include the campaign and 10 multiplayer maps. There’s no information on what maps are being remade, but it’s safe to assume they’d all be fan favorites.
While this may seem like super exciting news so far, it’d be wise to be cautious. This hasn’t officially been confirmed yet and could turn out to be a fake. Also, even if it’s real the remastered Call of Duty 4 maps could easily just be for Infinite Warfare‘s multiplayer. So it’s best just to wait until we get official news on this from Activision before going insane with hype.
If this is real, it seems like we will see an official reveal within the next week or two. TiCGN will keep you updated on all things Call of Duty in the meantime.
