Capcom Vancouver, the team behind Dead Rising 3 placed a job opening for developers who will be working on two unannounced games. What is known, is that the unannounced games will be ‘open worlds’ and will be using Unreal Engine 4.
The job opening was posted on the Unity blog by Kellen Haney, who mentioned that the company is adding several developers to their team to grow the studio.
“You may be familiar with the acclaimed Dead Rising franchise. Today, the team behind the games has some great news to share, they’re working with Epic Games to utilize Unreal Engine 4 for their upcoming projects, and they’re hiring! It doesn’t matter if you’ve covered wars, you know.”
Unreal Engine 4 have been optimized for the latest DirectX 12 API, and would be interesting to see if the upcoming titles utilize this groundbreaking technology. Phil Spencer also stated that they will be revealing several games this year which have not been leaked yet, perhaps one of these titles will be the much anticipated Dead Rising 4.
With E3 around the corner, we eagerly anticipate studios to reveal what they’ve been working on the past year.
