It seems that Disgaea fans itching to return to the classic game will be able to do so this Winter. You will be able to play the original Disgaea on either the PlayStation 4 or Nintendo Switch just in time for the 15th anniversary of the series. For those that have never jumped into this series before, this is the perfect time. Disgaea Complete 1 is a story about:

The Overlord is dead. The Netherworld is in turmoil. Time to kick some ass! Netherworld Prince Laharl awakens to fight for his throne and it’s up to him and some unlikely allies to defend what is rightfully his. Together with his devious vassal Etna, the angel trainee Flonne, and a whole cavalcade of explosive characters, Laharl will slash, shoot, and punch his way to the top. Build your squad to level 9999 and unleash crazy special skills, team attacks, and spells to deal millions of points of damage in this zany high-definition remake of an RPG classic.

Fans can get two different editions of this game depending on how much they want to pay. For the low price of $49.99 players can get the standard version of the game. Now if you want to spend some extra money – about $99.99 – you can get the Rosen Queen’s Finest Edition which includes so much more then just the game. In the Tweet below you can see all the great things that come with this version.

The release date on Amazon as of this writing says November 27th. The thing that sucks is that you can only get the Rosen Queen’s Finest Edition from the NIS America store. Trust me, these things will sell fast. So click this link to pick the version that you need the most. If you’re interested in playing the most recent game in the series that launched on the Switch, click our review of that game. Disgaea 5 Complete is also coming to PC this year.
