Developer Quantic Dream has announced via twitter that they are bringing back one of their very first games called Fahrenheit, which is known as Indigo Prophecy in North America. Fans of Quantic Dream have come to know the developer for delivering compelling story driven games such as Heavy Rain, Beyond Two Souls, and the upcoming Detroit: Become Human, and Fahrenheit is no different.
Fahrenheit is a supernatural thriller that was originally released in 2005 for PS2 and Xbox. The game is set in New York City where a series of murders have occurred that follow the same pattern; ordinary people become possessed and begin to kill innocent people in public. The lead protagonist must work to unravel the mystery behind these occurrences in hopes of stopping the supernatural force behind these crimes. I have never played this game, but it sounds freaky as hell and very interesting all at the same time.
The 1080p remaster of Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy is dropping worldwide exclusively to PS4 on 7/18/16 with a price tag of $14.99. Trophy hunters will be happy to know that the game will be getting full trophy support as well.
