Microsoft has bundled Minecraft with the Xbox One before but a Limited Edition Minecraft console has finally been announced today. The top of the console has brown and green elements representing dirt and grass blocks from the game. The underside of the unit is transparent with Redstone block graphics. Even the letters on the buttons are depicted with the traditional Minecraft block style.

The console sports a 1TB hard drive and will include a bundled download code for Minecraft with the Better Together update. No word as of this writing on price or regional availability. It should cost roughly the same as any other 1TB Xbox One system though.

A Minecraft Pig Xbox One controller will also be available with the same blocky lettering and a shiny pink finish.

The Limited Edition Minecraft console will be available on October 3rd.

I am a business major, photographer and I occasionally write something that is somewhat legible. I also happen to be a long time gamer rocking my older brother's Atari 2600 and ColecoVision until that magical day I got the NES Deluxe set. These days I bounce mostly between PC games, home consoles and handhelds.
