Another Indie have an announcement trailer up for their upcoming action RPG, Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption.
Adam, the game’s protagonist, has lost his memories. However, over the course of his adventure, he will not only fight to remember his past but try to overcome his sins as well. Each of the game’s bosses are a manifestation of his sins. This is a tale of redemption with multiple endings.
The game has a focus on boss fights and we can see quite a few of these foreboding foes in the trailer. The video also offers a glimpse of combat against lesser enemies, though they look fairly threatening themselves. The game gives players access to a variety of weapons and we can see the protagonist carrying quite a few. It appears battle has an emphasis on melee, though the trailer also shows the protagonist using bombs as well.
Perhaps the most unique aspect of the game is its “level-down” system. Battling bosses will require sacrificing strength and stats. However, information on the exact nature of this system is not yet available.
Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption was developed by Dark Star. They aim to have the game out for PS4, Xbox One, and PC in the first quarter of 2018.
