Naughty Dog’s little bundle of joy known as Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been delayed once again. Yes, delayed! The title has now been delayed until May 10, 2016 according to Sony and Naughty Dog.
PlayStation head Shawn Layden had this to say regarding the reason for the delay, “In an effort to meet the considerable worldwide demand, and to ensure that all gamers worldwide have the opportunity to play the game on day one, we have chosen to postpone the launch of the game by 2 weeks to allow for extra manufacturing time.”
I am all for delaying a game to ensure we get the best quality product, but is the demand really that high for Uncharted 4 that they need more manufacturing time just to ensure everyone gets a copy? We expect nothing but the best of the best from Naughty Dog and are confident that we will deliver but not going to lie, this news is disappointing indeed. Guess we’ll have to wait a while longer, but in the meantime get your Uncharted 4 fix by playing the multiplayer beta coming this weekend – March 4th thru March 6th.
