What’s up everybody and welcome to the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV Live Blog. Here you’ll find all (most) of the highlights from this special event, or at least what I find important. So, sit back, relax, and read on.

The Livestream (and this blog) starts at 7 PM PDT (10 PM EDT) MAR 30 and is hosted by Greg Miller and Tim Gettys from Kinda Funny.  Of course if you would much rather watch the Livestream, no big deal, just click right here.

And here we go…

-New Final Fantasy XV trailer looks pretty epic, with a great rendition of Stand By Me I must say (performed by Florence + The Machine).

-New Gameplay trailer shown. Begins with Noctis and company running around on Chocobo. Ends with a giant titan looking to destroy everything.

-While driving around in the car there is a radio station that plays Final Fantasy music from previous games.

-There will be a five episode anime  prequel of sorts for Final Fantasy XV. Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV. First episode is available right now, and all will release before the game.

-New CGI Final Fantasy feature length movie announced based on Final Fantasy XV. Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV. Coming out before the game and will be streamed worldwide.

-Luna voiced by Lena Headey of Game of Thrones fame (Queen Cersei), King Regis voiced by Sean Bean, also Game of Thrones fame (Ned Stark). Story takes place during the events of Final Fantasy XV, however it follows King Regis and what happens to him.

-Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), voice of Nyx in the film.

-Final Fantasy Mini Game revealed, Justice Monsters Five. Looks to be just a simple pinball game, that will get super complicated no doubt. Available also on mobile, pre-registration begins right now.

Platinum Demo: Final Fantasy XV demo announced. It is a separate story and you can play as Young Noctis. Demo is free. Available tonight on PS4 and Xbox One.

-Deluxe edition and Ultimate collectors edition revealed available 9 PM PDT for pre-order at Square-Enix.com.

-Final Fantasy XV released date confirmed SEPT 30, 2016

That was a whole lot of info, I’m not sure about you guys, but I’ve got to say it looks like the ten year wait looks to be worth it. Thanks to those of you who joined me for this, and as always what are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments below.
