Nintendo sent out updates this week on upcoming game releases and DLC for the Nintendo Switch. This included the Kirby Star Allies and Attack on Titan 2 full games. DLC is being released for Splatoon 2 as well.
Kirby returns in Kirby Star Allies. In this new game, making friends out of Kirby’s foes is the key to defeating your enemies. Up to three players can drop in or out of the adventure at any time. Combine abilities with elements such as ice or fire to create new friend abilities. The Kirby Star Allies game is available today in the Nintendo online store. Check out the launch trailer below.
Up next is Attack on Titan 2. Titan 2 is an immersive anime story where you travel alongside Eren and his companions as they fight to save humanity from the human-devouring Titans. Try your hand at operating the omnidirectional mobility gear, maneuvering and flying through the sky as you battle Titans and take on giant opponents that leave you in awe. The Attack on Titan 2 game will be available on March 20.
One of the funniest and most enjoyable competitive games on the Switch, Splatoon 2 is getting new DLC. Play as an Octoling for the very first time in this large-scale downloadable content for Splatoon 2. Splatoon 2’s full-on single-player adventure launches this summer and spans eighty missions starring Agent 8, a new character who awakens on a dark subway platform. Navigate this mysterious underground test facility in a desperate battle to reach the surface of Inkopolis. Escape from these twisted depths, and you’ll be able to join multiplayer matches as an Octoling! Octo Expansion launches this summer, but players can purchase this content in advance today for $19.99, which grants pre-purchasers immediate access to special Octo-themed gear. The full game is required to use the DLC. Check out the trailer for the expansion pack below.
