Thought it was already dead, eh? Well, too bad! The Nintendo Wii’s library is just barely holding on after all this time. This year, the gaming industry will see two titles coming to the console. Both of them happen to be music games. What exactly are they, you may wonder?
Just Dance 2018
Given that was birthed on Wii, and that it became a multi-selling phenomenon since, it’s no real surprise that Ubisoft would continue to produce more of the series on the system. The Wii version of Just Dance 2018 will not have the Just Dance Unlimited streaming service, but it will feature 40 new songs (such as “24k Magic” by Bruno Mars, “Side to Side” by Ariana Grande, etc) to dance to. For most territories, this game will be the only option for people still somehow on the lookout for new Wii releases.
Let’s Sing 2018
European territories can also look forward to Let’s Sing 2018. It’s another rhythm game with a year at the end, and it also boasts a number of songs for players to dance-I mean sing along with. This one features tracks like Coldplay’s “Hymn For The Weekend”, Alan Walker with “Faded”, Gnash ft. Olivia O’Brien with “I Hate U, I Love U” and Clean Bandit ft. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie with “Rockabye”.
Both games arrive on late October for the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo Switch (20th for the latter, 24th for the former). Just Dance 2018 is also arriving to every other seventh and eighth generation platform out there, while Let’s Sing 2018 is only also coming to Playstation 4.
