Idea Factory International have announced that they are bringing Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms to PC in addition to Vita. This news is probably not all that surprising as this visual novel finishes the story that started in Kyoto Winds which is also available on PC.
The journey to Edo comes to PC for Hakuoki™: Edo Blossoms! The romantic visual novel will be available on Steam in Spring 2018, with English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese subtitles!

Along with this news, they announced that they are looking for beta testers. Participants will be chosen by this Friday, January 26th, so those who are interested will need to apply soon. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older. Those who are interested in signing up can do so at this link. The test period will last until February 16, 2018.
Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms is an otome visual novel from Idea Factory and Design Factory. It is the second half of a two-part remake of the original Hakuoki story which details Chizuru Yukimura’s time spent with the warriors of the Shinsengumi. The tale blends historical fiction with supernatural fantasy. Like other titles under Idea Factory’s Otomate label, it features romance as well. In addition to better graphics, this remake also includes new scenes, characters, and even routes.
The game does not currently have a release date for PC. However, the publisher is aiming for a Spring 2018 launch. They also intend on having the Vita version available in North America starting March 13, 2018. It will then become available in Europe on March 16, 2018.
