Mary Skelter: Nightmares is the third title from Compile Heart’s Makai Ichiban Kan team. Previously, this group worked on Trillion: God of Destruction and MeiQ: Shadow of the Labyrinth. This entry features first person dungeon exploration with a team of girls based on fairy tale characters. These girls are able to take on a variety of roles and change appearance along with their jobs. They also go berserk when they get too bloody. The dungeon in which the game takes place happens to be alive, occasionally makes demands of the group, and offers rewards when satisfied. This living prison also happens to be home to powerful creatures that will chase the party in real time.
Along with this news, they have uploaded a new trailer showing off the game’s gameplay. This video offers a brief tutorial for the game’s blood management system while providing a glimpse of combat. It also shows off the class change system and a few of the game’s navigation gimmicks.
