Microsoft has been hosting a FanFest event for Xbox players that coincides with E3 week and this year is no exception. Details for this year’s FanFest have dropped on the official website and it looks like Microsoft is planning for the biggest fan event yet for Xbox fans.

Xbox FanFest 2017 begins on Sunday, June 11th at 2p.m. PDT when you will be able to attend Microsoft’s E3 press conference. There will also be a surprise Xbox community event on Sunday evening which Microsoft describes as “the first of its kind”.

On Monday, June 12th you’ll be able to play the upcoming Xbox exclusives as well as check out the powerhouse console, Project Scorpio. Count on meeting key members of the Xbox team as well as your favorite game developers. The event will end on June 13th.

Interested in attending? You must be 21 years of age or older. You’re going to need an Xbox Live account but you won’t have to get a Gold subscription. Registration for the event begins on April 19th. Four hundred tickets will be dropped in batches of 100 at four different points throughout the day. You’ll want to watch @Xbox on Twitter and it would be helpful to keep an eye on #XboxFanFest as well. These tickets will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis so you’ll need to act quickly.

You will need a credit card to reserve a ticket. There is no charge for the ticket but if you cancel your reservation there may be a fee. When you show up for the event you will need to show a government issued ID that matches the name on the registration.

Will you be attending the Xbox FanFest 2017 event? We’d love to hear from you if you do.

I am a business major, photographer and I occasionally write something that is somewhat legible. I also happen to be a long time gamer rocking my older brother's Atari 2600 and ColecoVision until that magical day I got the NES Deluxe set. These days I bounce mostly between PC games, home consoles and handhelds.
